Assessment of your health status

We will evaluate your health status through a complete clinical examination including gynecological examination and blood tests, and we will also assess your family history.

This report will indicate your potential as a donor and allows us to rule out possible contraindications for donation.

Second stage

Stimulation and recovery

Ovary stimulation

Ovary stimulation

It leads to the maturation of several oocytes and lasts approximately 10 days.

Usually, the donor can carry out the treatment herself at home.

Normally, this stimulation phase is preceded by an injection to put the ovaries to rest.

Careful monitoring

Careful monitoring

During the stimulation period, ultrasounds will be performed to verify that the ovary's response to the treatment is good.

At the end of the monitoring period, we will be able to precisely set the date and time of the last injection that will complete the oocyte maturation stage.

Egg collection

Egg collection

This is the last step of the donation, it consists of a small intervention in the operating room 36 hours after the last injection.

It is a quick and simple procedure, which is performed vaginally under ultrasound control and applying sedation that minimizes discomfort.

The donor can leave the hospital that same day after about three hours when we see that she has completely recovered, although we recommend that she be accompanied.

The eggs will be allocated to couples who require a fertility treatment.
Under no circumstances will the identity of the donor be revealed.
