IVF-ICSI with own oocytes
In in vitro fertilization with the patient's own oocytes, our results show clinical pregnancy rates (pregnancy with a gestational sac and a heartbeat) by embryo transfer of 59.7% for patients under 35 years of age, 50.3% for patients between 35 and 39 years old and 31.9% for patients 40 years old or older. Depending on the number of embryos transferred, clinical pregnancy rates of 52.7% are obtained by transferring 1 embryo and 55.3% by transferring 2 embryos. The clinical twin pregnancy rate transferring 2 embryos is 18.7%. The cancellation rate (due to the absence of transferable embryos in the cycle) is 19.0% and the abortion rate (clinical and ectopic) per pregnancy initiated is 22.4%. The rate of term pregnancy with a newborn by transfer with fresh embryos is 44.9% for patients under 35 years old, 37.9% for patients between 35 and 39 years old and 20.1% for patients 40 years old. years or more.
In 26.3% of cycles with embryo transfer, surplus embryos with biological characteristics of viability are cryopreserved. Of these embryos, 96.8% survive thawing and are valid for transfer.
IVF-ICSI with donor oocytes
In in vitro fertilization with donor oocytes, our results show clinical pregnancy rates (pregnancy with gestational sac and heartbeat) per embryo transfer of 59.0% transferring 2 embryos and 53.7% transferring 1 embryo. The clinical twin pregnancy rate transferring 2 embryos is 34.2%. The cancellation rate (due to the absence of transferable embryos in the cycle) is 4.4% and the abortion rate (clinical and ectopic) per pregnancy initiated is 17.8%. The rate of full-term pregnancy with a newborn by transfer with fresh embryos is 47.6% transferring 2 embryos and 40.8% transferring 1 embryo.
In 49.2% of cycles with embryo transfer, surplus embryos with biological characteristics of viability are cryopreserved. Of these embryos, 97.1% survive thawing and are valid for transfer.
IVF-ICSI with embryo cryopreservation
The clinical pregnancy rates by transfer with cryopreserved embryos from the patient's own oocytes are 50.2% for patients under 35 years of age, 47.7% for patients between 35 and 39 years of age and 29.8% for patients 40 years or more. The rate of term pregnancy with a newborn by transfer with said cryopreserved embryos is 43.0% for patients under 35 years of age, 38.5% for patients between 35 and 39 years of age and 22.1% for patients of 40 years. years or more.
The clinical pregnancy rates for transfer with cryopreserved embryos from donor oocytes are 58.3% transferring 2 embryos and 49.3% transferring 1 embryo. The rate of full-term pregnancy with a newborn by transfer with said cryopreserved embryos is 45.9% transferring 2 embryos and 37.4% transferring 1 embryo.
IVF-ICSI with PGD (preimplantation genetic diagnosis)
In in vitro fertilization with preimplantation genetic diagnosis, our results indicate clinical pregnancy rates (pregnancy with gestational sac and heartbeat) per embryo transfer of 70.0%. The cancellation rate (due to the absence of transferable embryos in the cycle) is 27.1% and the abortion rate (clinical and ectopic) per pregnancy initiated is 9.5%.
Artificial insemination with the couple's semen
They depend largely on the age of the woman and the concurrent causes that have determined the indication for treatment. In our center the clinical pregnancy rate (pregnancy with gestational sac and heartbeat) per cycle performed is 13.9% in patients under 35 years of age and 12.1% in patients between 35 and 40 years of age.
Artificial insemination with donor semen
They depend largely on the age of the woman and the existence of additional causes of infertility. In our center the clinical pregnancy rate (pregnancy with gestational sac and heartbeat) per cycle performed is 15.5% in patients under 35 years of age, 24.0% in patients between 35 and 39 years of age and 2.9 % in patients over 39 years of age.
Fertility preservation
In fertility preservation, our results indicate clinical pregnancy rates (pregnancy with a gestational sac and heartbeat) per embryo transfer of 66.7%. The oocyte survival rate after thawing is 63.1%, the fertilization rate is 78.0% and the clinical pregnancy rate per cryopreserved oocyte is 12.5%.
